PHONE SETUP
GETTING STARTED
To get you started at HV, the first step is setting up your new iPhone. You should have received it from the IT Department. If you haven’t, contact the support team.
Turn on the device and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.
MICROSOFT SIGN IN
When prompted, sign in with your Microsoft account. This allows seamless enrollment into our Mobile Device Management system, enabling remote deployment of required apps and security policies to your phone.
Rest assured, the system does not grant us access to your personal data or activity. If you’d like to learn more, you can read about Microsoft Intune MDM here:
APPLE ICLOUD SIGN IN
When prompted to sign in with an Apple ID, you can use your personal Apple ID or create a new one with your HV Capital email address. Both options work. Some prefer using their own account to keep existing contacts and data, while others choose a separate Apple ID to maintain a clear boundary between personal and work use. The choice is yours.
APPS
Once your phone is set up, ensure the following apps are installed. It can take up to 10 minutes for the Mobile Device Management system to automatically install them. In rare cases, technical issues may prevent automatic installation, so verify manually if needed:
1Password
Microsoft Authenticator
Outlook
